Application Compatibility

Sprinx CRM is a client-server based software solution. For its proper functionality, several requirements need to be met both on the server and client sides. The operating system and other software requirements are:

Server operating system

Sprinx CRM supports the following operating system:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000  Server (Service Pack 4)
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 4)
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 2)
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Business
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

The 32-bit editions of the operating systems are supported except for Microsoft Windows Vista Business where the 64-bit edition is optionally supported. All server operating systems may be in either Czech or English mutations. Please note the minimum service pack required, in parentheses behind the version name. Although this is not the full list of operating system version that would enable Sprinx CRM to function, it is a full list of configurations supported by the manufacturer.

Server application software

Sprinx CRM requires the following server application software:

  • Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0 or higher
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. (Service Pack 1)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express

The installation program checks whether the required application software has been installed and offers the installation to the user. The installation packages are downloaded from the interned automatically. The user may be prompted to insert the operating system CD for completion of the Microsoft Internet Information Services installation. The installation package for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express is a part of the Sprinx CRM installer and its installation is always automated.

Server hardware requirements

Sprinx CRM does not place any special requirements on the server hardware beyond those required by the operating system. The Sprinx CRM installation requires approx. 55 MB of disk space.

Client operating system

Sprinx CRM supports the following client operating system:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 4)
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2)
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Business
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (Service Pack 1) or Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
  • Microsoft Office Web Components  (may be installed automatically)
  • Microsoft Office (required for interactive reports)

Identical versions of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office Web Components are required for the interactive reports functionality. The components may be installed automatically at the report first view. Version 10 is being installed.

Client hardware requirements

Sprinx CRM does not place any special requirements on the client hardware beyond those required by the operating system.
